QUESTION: How sturdy is this How big is the area that the puzzle covers on the floor? by Lois N 11/18/2011
ANSWER: Sorry, I don't know -- it was given as a gift to a friend in another state. by Iris J 12/30/2011
ANSWER: Its very sturdy. It doesn't "rock" as well as I'd expected, but its fun to climb on and play with. My daughter has fallen off the back a few times, but she's rather wild, so I expected some tumbling. The base is about 8" - 10" wide.
The mat is about 3' x 5'. It was more fun for the kids to rip it apart and plug the pieces in new places than it was for them to play on it, but its still new.
I'm happy with the purchase. The price was good and the product is well made. by Kati L 12/30/2011
ANSWER: Hi Lois-
I bought this as a gift for my grandson. He was eighteen months old at the time. I thought that it was very sturdy. It was smaller than I thought it would be and the rocking motion is minimal. It covers an area of about 4 feet by 5 feet when it is laid out on the floor.
Hope this helps.

ANSWER: We gave it as a gift to my 6 month old nephew. He was definitely able to use it as a playmat which his body fit easily on in all directions, with room for "scooting". I would guess it is approx 4 ft across i thought the mat was quite sturdy, a little more wobbly as a horse. He was able to use the horse with assistance at age 6 mos, and uses it now at 18 mos, but it's definitely a small horse 18 inches high tops. by E M 11/19/2011
ANSWER: I am not sure of the sturdiness of the toy. I had it sent to my nephew in Ohio for his 1st birthday. I did get a photo of him playing on the playmat with lots of his toys scattered around and it looked fairly large from the photo. he enjoys playing on it. by Aaron b 11/18/2011
REPLY: Thanks, Aaron. This is what I'm thinking for a gift for one of my grandsons. by Lois N 11/18/2011
