ANSWER: I gave this to a seven year old girl and an eight year old girl. Both had good "craft" experience and were able to do it easily after a few tries. I would recommend that they really be into crafts if they are younger than 8. Also, it does take a long time to complete, and I would recommend that you know that the recipient is able to concentrate on a task for a long time/be able to hang in there until it is complete. Finally, adult support/help is necessary until they get the hang of it. by J E 12/4/2011
